The town is home to the President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site. The restored Missouri-Pacific Railroad Depot serves as the Hope Visitor Center & Museum and contains local history exhibits and railroad memorabilia. The watermelon is used in the municipal logo and the Hope slogan: A Slice of the Good Life.  A few miles from town is the Historic Washington State Park, a restoration village preserving the 19th-century town of Washington, which figured prominently in Arkansas and Southwest U.S. history.  Hope is a historical town with community spirit, parks, schools, restaurants, shops, medical services, and lots of charm!
