Below is a brand-new slate of new and updated tax sales coming your way in the next few months. If you’re wondering about new dates for auctions you’ve had on your radar, please refer to the tax sale calendar for hundreds of listings.
Without further ado, let’s check out this week’s California tax sales!
Riverside County CA will host a tax sale April 30th – May 5th on 813 tax-defaulted properties. This is one of our largest upcoming no reserve auctions with a single $2,500 refundable deposit and bids starting as low as $100. Full property lists are now posted with partial acre and multiple acre lots available.
Riverside County is located in Southern CA and is the 4th most populous in the state, serving as county seat to Riverside along with portions of the San Bernardino and the LA-Long Beach area. Riverside is home to 2 million residents, a Mediterranean climate, the Joshua Tree national park and is one of the fastest growing regions of the state.
Deposits for this auction closes on April 27th at 4pm EST.
The Sierra County CA tax sale is set for May 15-18th with a single parcels starting at just $8,600. This no reserve auction requires a single $2,500 refundable deposit. Available properties can be found in cities such as Alturas and Newell, CA. Sierra county is a northern California county, the second least-populous in the state serving as the county seat Downieville. Part of the Sierra Nevada region, the county is in close proximity to Nevada and Sacramento.
Deposits for this auction are due on May 11th at 4pm EST.
Yolo County CA will offer nearly 30 properties for auction between May 8h – May 11th with starting bids as low as $4,414. This no reserve auction with a single $5,000 registration fee. Properties available include parcels in Woodland, West Sacramento, Madison and Clarksburg, among others. Minimum bids start at just a fraction of the assessment, including a $448,117 property with a starting bid of $11,403 and a nearly million-dollar West Sacramento property starting at $41,238.
Yolo County is a northern California county. Woodland is the county seat of Yolo, which is part of the greater Sacramento metro area. Yolo is home to California’s tomato production region and close to the fast-growing Sacramento area.
Deposits for this auction are due on May 4th at 4pm EST.
San Joaquin County is offering 21 parcels for online auction May 12-14th with no reserve. Over 260 parcels will be offered with starting bids as low as $288. This auction requires a single $1,500 registration fee and bids will begin at $1,000. Full property lists are already uploaded to the link above. All available properties are located in Stockton, CA with lien information included.
San Joaquin County is located in Northern California’s central valley and its county seat is Stockton, known for its role in the Gold Rush. Due to its close proximity to the Bay area it’s a fast growing and densely populated county for its size.
Deposits for this auction are due on May 5th at 4pm EST.
From May 8-11th you’ll have the chance to bid on over 80 parcels presented by the Siskiyou County treasurer’s office. Starting bids begin at $1,000 and there are no reserves on any of the properties. Parcels are located in Hornbrook, Mt. Shasta, Happy Camp, and other communities. Acreage ranges from less than half an acre to over 150 acres. Siskiyou County is located in the northernmost part of California bordering Oregon. It’s known for its geographical wonder, outdoor recreation and high tourism due to Gold rush era historic sites.
Deposits for this auction closes on May 4th at 4pm EST.
Modoc County is hosting a tax sale May 15-18th with no reserve auction. Over 260 parcels will be offered with starting bids as low as $288. This auction requires a single $500 refundable deposit. Full property lists provided by Modoc County are available at the link above with addresses, assessed values and more information so you can bid with confidence from anywhere in the world. Parcels are located in Alturas, Newell, Tionesta, and more.
Modoc County is located in the upper East corner of California bordering Nevada and Oregon. Much of Modoc county is federal land as the county is one of the least-populous in the state.
